Job summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking Perinatal Nurses for the Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital Labor and Delivery unit in Ann Arbor. The roles involve direct patient care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, with newborn care coordination and family support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in Michigan.
• Two years full-time experience in inpatient Labor & Delivery.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours/week on day or night shifts during orientation.
• Must obtain NRP credential within 3 months of hire.
• Support VVWH values and professional standards in daily practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to obstetrical patients and newborns.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Uphold VVWH standards of care, and participate in unit committees and orientations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with perioperative and post-anesthesia processes.
