Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Staff Nurse for its high- acuity obstetrics and labor/delivery team. You will manage and deliver patient- and family-centered care in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment with advanced fetal monitoring and hydrotherapy options.

You will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care, supervising others and ensuring alignment with the professional practice model. Ohio license required; night shift responsibilities apply.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio license or interim permit to practice nursing.
• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE/ACEN accredited program is required.
• Experience in a relevant care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise nursing care for patients and families.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model.
• Direct and supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
