Job summary

AdventHealth in Tavores, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a PRN Day shift. You will perform comprehensive assessments, create and adjust care plans, administer meds, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Expect ongoing professional development and accountability in a compassionate, faith-based environment. Qualifications include RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and an associate degree with a preference for a BSN.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and state requirements.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across biological, psychological, and social factors.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and document in the chart.
• Maintain infection control and safety compliance in all activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly to stabilize patients.
