Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in Northern Kentucky. The role involves direct patient care, monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include current RN licensure, 2+ years in Labor & Delivery, and certifications (NRP, BLS, ACLS). A BSN is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position within our healthcare facilities in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• RN with Labor & Delivery experience and ability to monitor patients.
• Certification in NRP, BLS, and ACLS required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; ASN must complete BSN within five years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
