Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team for a 13-week contract in Henderson, North Carolina. The position runs a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and focuses on providing comprehensive care to mothers and newborns before, during, and after childbirth.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in Labor and Delivery, current NRP and BLS certifications, plus experience with couplet care, fetal monitoring, and NICU exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current NRP and BLS certifications.
• Experience with couplet care and LDRP; NICU exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief options.
• Support mothers through labor and provide emotional support.
• Perform assessments and interventions throughout labor and delivery.
