Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery (LDRP) in Dickson, TN for a 13-week contract. Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, full-time with 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns, manage labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, fetal monitoring, and OB emergencies, including C-sections, while maintaining safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Must have Labor and Delivery experience.
• Certification in BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring training is required.
• Experience with inductions using Pitocin and Cervidil is preferred.
• Advanced skills in fetal monitoring and neonatal assessments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor active laboring patients and provide overall care during delivery and postpartum recovery.
• Conduct thorough assessments of mothers and newborns.
• Administer and manage medications and interventions as necessary.
• Handle potential OB emergencies, including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage.
• Perform procedures such as C-sections, circumcisions, and vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries.
• Facilitate daily rounding on all patients to ensure safety and quality of care.
