Job summary

HiredFirst seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a dedicated women’s care team in Templeton, CA. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for labor and delivery patients, monitoring maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and postpartum care.

You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe outcomes, educate families during childbirth, and uphold high nursing standards in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 1 year of acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire.
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for labor and delivery patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes.
• Educate and support patients and families during the childbirth experience.
• Maintain high standards of nursing practice, safety, and patient-centered care.
