Job summary

University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital seeks a clinically competent, registered nurse to provide safe, therapeutic care using the nursing process for acutely ill medical/surgical and maternal-child health patients. You will work within interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate plans of care while contributing to a positive work environment.

Required are CA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, NRP and fetal monitoring credentials within specified timelines; ADN is

Qualifications

Registered Nurse licensed in California (CA BRN).
BLS Healthcare Provider certification (American Heart Association).
ACLS Healthcare Provider certification (AHA) - may be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Advanced Fetal Monitoring - may be obtained within 4 months of hire.
NRP - may be obtained within 4 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, therapeutic nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary nursing teams to deliver comprehensive care.
Care for acutely ill patients with medical/surgical or maternal-child health needs and support a positive work environment.
