Job summary

A clinically competent, registered nurse at the University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital provides safe, therapeutic care to acutely ill patients using the nursing process. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating care, and collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Required are California RN licensure, ACLS when appropriate, and BLS; an Associate and Bachelor’s degree in nursing; and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current CA RN licensure required.
• ACLS certification required when appropriate; BLS certification required.
• One-year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care using the nursing process for acutely ill patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.
• Supervise/coordinate care with LVN, CNA, nursing students as appropriate.
