Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced RN to provide obstetric nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergencies, in a California hospital. You will coordinate care, monitor maternal and fetal status, and support safe delivery and newborn outcomes.

Candidate must have ASN/BSN, two years L&D experience, current RN license, BLS/CPR, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring credentials. Knowledge of patient education and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• ASN or equivalent required; BSN preferred.
• Two years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Active RN license in California and current BLS/CPR, ACLS, NRP.
• Fetal monitoring certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Assess patients physically and psychosocially, considering culture and age.
• Develop multidisciplinary care plans with the health team.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and manage obstetric emergencies.
• Assist with cesarean sections and epidural care as needed.
• Educate patients and families and document care and outcomes.
• Maintain safety and quality assurance per department standards.
