Job summary

The Birth Place at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH seeks an RN with Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum experience to provide care for mothers and babies across ante-, intra-, and post-partum stages.

As a Magnet-designated unit, we emphasize family‑centered care, fetal monitoring, and ongoing education. The team includes obstetricians, CNMs, RNs, LNAs, and support staff delivering safe, compassionate care 24/7.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current NH licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement priority-based nursing care and establishes goals to meet the patient's needs.
• Integrate patient values, best practice, and evidence into patient care.
• Engage patients and/or families in the care delivery.
• Function competently within own scope of practice.
• Utilize a communication style/practice to meet the needs of the team and/or the situation.
