Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide comprehensive care for laboring patients and newborns through the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods in Chandler, AZ.

The role involves monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, administering medications per orders, assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and educating families on labor progress and postpartum recovery.

Qualifications

RN license in state of practice (Required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (Required).

Responsibilities

Monitors maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate patterns during labor.
Administers medications per physician orders, including oxytocin and analgesia.
Assists with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
Performs immediate newborn assessment and care after delivery.
Educates patients and families on labor progress, pain management, and postpartum recovery.
Recognizes obstetric emergencies such as hemorrhage or fetal distress.
