Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, CA, is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Family Birth Center to provide holistic, safe perinatal care from admission to discharge. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, collaborating with the care team to meet patient and family needs.

The role requires at least 1 year in Labor & Delivery, a CA RN license, CPR, ACLS and NRP within 90 days of hire, with a preference for circulating/post-partum experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery with accurate interpretation of fetal monitor strips.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
• Basic Life Support - CPR from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS from the American Heart Association, within 90 Days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 90 Days of hire.
• We prefer candidates who also have experience with circulating, post-partum and nurse.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for perinatal patients.
• Document accurately and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Provide leadership in patient care while upholding safety and patient-centric care.
• Coordinate discharge steps or referrals to address timely discharge needs.
