Tucson Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit in Tucson, AZ. The role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with two years of experience and requires an active RN license in Arizona with BLS certification.

The Labor & Delivery team cares for high-acuity obstetric patients with in-house perinatology and neonatology support, providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary care around the clock.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: One year of nursing in acute care preferred (EP Lab experience details in doc).
• Licensure: Current AZ RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes and adjusts nursing care plans as indicated.
• Writes/obtains initial nursing histories and develops individualized care plans.
• Receives shift reports, performs rounds and notes patient condition.
• Notifies physician regarding unusual or unexpected events requiring consultation.
• Educates patients and families and reinforces instructional needs.
