Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a part-time Patient Care Assistant to support the Labor & Delivery team. The role involves assisting nursing staff with patient care activities, charting, and daily living tasks under supervision.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, a Medical Assistant degree or West Virginia CNA license or PCT Certification, CPR and Glucoscan within 90 days, and 1–2 years of experience preferred. Documentation must be provided at interview.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect non-professional nursing care under supervision.
• Perform duties such as cleaning, taking vital signs, obtaining lab specimens, charting, escorting patients, assisting with activities of daily living.
