Job summary

The role requires at least 1 year OR training/experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. BLS and state licensure CE requirements apply; per diem, part-time night shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during any surgical procedure and provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
