Job summary

Incredible Health in Glendale, AZ is hiring a Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) to support obstetric care in a high-volume setting. The role requires an ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1+ year experience in L&D or related field.

Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts; full-time, part-time, or per diem arrangements available. Responsibilities include assessing laboring patients, monitoring vitals and fetal status, administering medications, and providing family education.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers with obstetricians and healthcare team.
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates; intervene when needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed (epidurals, IV fluids).
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Document and report patient status and outcomes per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or a related field preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard medical equipment pertinent to Labor & Delivery

Responsibilities

Salary: $61,340 to $100,360 /year
