The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with 1+ years in Labor & Delivery or related fields. Strong EHR skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited program.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years in Labor and Delivery or related field preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork with physicians and nurses.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and standard L&D equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care for laboring mothers with obstetric team.
• Monitor vitals, contractions, fetal heart rates; intervene as needed.
• Administer medications including epidurals and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families during labor and delivery.
• Document patient status and treatment outcomes per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
