Confluence Health in Washington State offers a Nurse Residency program designed to transition new graduates or experienced nurses into acute inpatient care with a strong focus on high-quality, evidence-based patient care. The resident works with a preceptor across multiple units, gaining increasing responsibility and professional growth.

The program includes online and classroom learning, clinical simulation, mentorship, and a six-month practice period under supportive supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active WA RN or LPN licensure (LPN eligible to sit NCLEX).
• Basic computer skills (Windows, email, password management).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide nursing care with increasing independence under a preceptor.
• Accurately collects patient information and performs holistic assessments.
• Documents care, assessments, plans, interventions, and responses in the patient record.
