Job summary

Parkland Community Health Plan in Dallas seeks an Associate Nurse Manager for Labor and Delivery. You will assist in daily unit management, supervise staff, plan schedules, and support quality and budget initiatives to ensure high quality patient care.

The role requires a BSN, 3 years of RN experience, and current Texas RN license with BLS; ACLS/NRP and electronic fetal monitoring training are expected. This is a full-time night shift position.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher required.
• Must hold RN license (TX or compact).
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• ALS or ACLS certification on hire/placement.
• NRP certification on hire/placement.
• Intermediate fetal monitoring training on hire/placement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily management of unit activities to ensure high quality patient care.
• Develop staff schedules to maximize coverage and efficiency.
• Supervise nursing and ancillary staff; motivate and evaluate performance.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation and development.
• Monitor quality, policy compliance and budgetary aspects of the unit.
• Collaborate with physicians, admin and other departments to improve patient services.
