Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Labor & Delivery Nurse to guide patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care with a focus on safety and positive outcomes. You will perform procedures, monitor fetal status, manage pain, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team during a dynamic shift.

Ideal candidates bring an ADN/foreign-equivalent nursing diploma, AZ RN license, and BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications. Preference for BSN and 1 year L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Of Nursing Diploma or Foreign Equivalent.
• Registered Nurse: AZ
• American Heart Association: BLS, ACLS (within 6 months), NRP (within 6 months)

Responsibilities

• Triage walk-in patients to determine labor status or false alarms.
• Support laboring patients with induction, epidural assistance, pain management, and fetal monitoring.
• Assist and circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections and emergency procedures.
• Educate patients on medications, exams, procedures, and stages of labor.
• Assess and provide care for newborns immediately after delivery.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
