Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved nursing program (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
• Eligibility for TN RN licensure within 90 days.
• NCLEX must be taken; 2nd attempt may require ancillary role.
• BCLS certification required on hire.
• Experience in patient care from approved nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to medical regimen and plans.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care per policies.
• Document assessments and clinical judgments.
• Manage patient safety, infection control, and risk management.
• Maintain patient records and use computer systems for data.
• Respond to emergencies and assist CPR when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and Compliance Policies.
