Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Labor and Delivery nurse to care for women and neonates during labor and childbirth. You will assist, support, and educate families throughout the birth process, delivering family-centered nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages to recognize complications and act quickly.

Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN-approved program; preferred BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN-approved program.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Missouri RN license (active) required.

Responsibilities

• Care for women and neonates during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum stages.
• Recognize complications and act quickly; communicate with patient, family and physicians.
• Educate families and provide family-centered nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
