Job summary

HCA Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. The RN will perform direct patient care within the scope of the RN Practice Act, using therapeutic communication in daily practice to maintain a safe environment and support the hospital's mission.

The role involves staff coordination, serving as a clinical resource, and ensuring timely documentation and escalation when needed.

Qualifications

• Social skills to positively engage with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees.
• Degree from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (B.S. or A.S.).
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or appropriate compact State.
• BLS
• 1 Year of RN experience required
• Labor and Delivery RN experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and care of patients across ages.
• Promote customer service initiatives and hospital service values (HCAHPS).
• Document all patient care in a timely manner.
• Use the Nursing Process for individualized care to meet patient needs.
• Demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
• Promote compliance with National Patient Safety Goals.
