Job summary

The Valley Health CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) role supports surgeons in the Labor & Delivery department, ensuring patient safety and sterile conditions during invasive procedures.

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program with VA license (NBSTSA) and BLS certification required; non-exempt, full-time on-site position with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Licensure: VA State license prior to start; NBSTSA certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon under supervision to ensure safe operative procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and proper aseptic technique.
• Set up and operate operating room equipment and instrumentation.
• Monitor equipment performance and patient safety during procedures.
