Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. operates Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, a 366-bed facility offering emergency, cardiovascular and neurological surgeries, maternity care and a level III NICU.

The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care, coordinate a multidisciplinary team and lead nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality care. Required BSN with Nevada RN license, BLS and relevant advanced certifications; dedicated to service excellence and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• BSN graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• One year full-time or three years part-time in acute care nursing; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in cardiovascular patient assessment and anatomy/physiology; comfortable with 12-lead EKG interpretation and arrhythmias; stress testing preferred.
• Current RN license in Nevada; current BLS; ACLS, PALS, NRP or other required specialty training completes on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families; collaborate with care partners.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team and supervise nursing staff.
• Support facility vision and goals; provide professional leadership.
• Uphold Service Excellence standards in all patient interactions.
