Job summary

Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, part of the VHS and a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), seeks an RN to provide safe, patient-centered care and to lead the healthcare team in a high-volume environment including maternity, NICU, and cardiovascular services.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, Nevada RN license with BLS and department-specific certifications; pre-employment assessments are required. BSN preferred and acute care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• One year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients per facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide employees under supervision and demonstrate Service Excellence.
