Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join the Labor and Delivery team on a part-time day shift (24 hours per week).

The Administrative Assistant supports department operations by performing secretarial tasks for multiple professionals and managers, and serves as back up receptionist. Inova offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent (GED).
• 2 years of relevant administrative office or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Types letters, memoranda, reports, contracts, forms and other materials from drafts using Word.
• Prepares large mailing projects using merge functions and labels.
• Organizes and maintains department files with confidentiality.
• Sorts and distributes department mail; maintains office supplies.
• Schedules conference rooms and coordinates meetings.
• Performs clerical tasks including copies, faxes and travel arrangements.
• Serves as first point of contact for visitors and callers.
• Answers and screens telephone calls and takes messages.
• Distributes passes as required by policy.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
