Job summary

The Virgin Islands Department of Justice – Office of Collective Bargaining seeks an Assistant Attorney General – Labor to represent agencies in labor matters, including arbitration, mediation, and administrative proceedings in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Under the Chief Negotiator, you will handle negotiations, advise on labor law and HR topics, and assist with training management while traveling between islands as needed.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited school (LL.B./J.D.).
• Active legal license to practice; VI bar admission preferred.
• 5+ years trial experience, including 2 years in active litigation.
• Travel between islands or to the mainland may be required.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in labor matters across arbitration, mediation, and courts.
