Job summary

LeoForce in California's Sacramento area seeks a wage-and-hour Associate Attorney to join our class action and PAGA team. Mid Level experience preferred. Salary ranges from $180,000 to $245,000 per year.

You will handle litigation from discovery through trial, perform legal research on labor and employment laws, manage client relationships, and negotiate settlements. Opportunities for growth and partnership are available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a wage-and-hour attorney is required.
• Class action and PAGA experience is preferred.
• Strong research and writing skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle class action and PAGA matters from start to finish including discovery, depositions, and motion work
• Attend trials as necessary and prepare for trial
• Stay current on labor and employment laws and regulations via legal research
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide effective legal solutions
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively

• Trial and Trial preparation: prepare for and attend trial as necessary
• Legal Research: Stay current on labor and employment laws and regulations, conducting legal research to ensure clients are informed and compliant

• Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively
