Location

Duties

1. Provide legal advice and representation on labor and employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour claims, and workplace investigations.
2. Conduct in-depth legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery.
3. Handle negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients.
4. Manage labor and employment litigation from intake through resolution.
5. Represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances.
6. Collaborate with colleagues and partners on strategy and case development.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment litigation preferred.
2. Knowledge of California and federal employment laws and litigation procedures.
3. Ability to manage a litigation docket with varying levels of complexity.
4. Experience negotiating settlements and engaging with opposing counsel.

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
