Young, Minney & Corr, LLP (YM&C) is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment law attorney to serve as trusted counsel to school leaders and boards across California.

You will handle employment and labor matters, draft contracts and handbooks, and provide training on compliance and policy issues, with a collaborative team and strong client service focus. Remote work is available with flexible billable targets and competitive compensation.

The Role

Serve as trusted counsel to school leaders and boards on labor and employment and related matters such as governance, policy, and risk management

• Advice on employment law (hiring/termination, investigations, wage/hour, accommodations)


• Draft and negotiate contracts, handbooks, policies, and MOUs


• Provide training on best practices, compliance, and policy matters


• Partner with a collaborative team that values practical solutions and outstanding client service

Base salary of $165,000-215,000 commensurate with experience, paired with a quarterly performance bonus, an annual firmwide bonus, and a defined path to partnership.
