Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in Employment Litigation including the ability to defend and prosecute claims.
• Experience defending discrimination, wage and hour, and trade secret violations.
• Trial experience and ability to present witnesses in hearings/arbitrations.

Responsibilities

• Defend discrimination claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, IHRA, IWA, and related claims.
• Defend wage and hour and class actions under FLSA, IMWL, IWPCA, and BIPA.
• Defend and/or prosecute trade secret violations and breaches of confidentiality, non-compete, and non-solicitation agreements.
• Have trial experience (first or second chair) and present witnesses at trials/arbitrations in employment matters.

• Compensation: $187,000 - $250,000+ depending on years of experience
• Billable hours: 1850 a year

Qualifications:

3-10 years of experience in Employment Litigation including:

• Defending against discrimination claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, IHRA, IWA, and similar common law claims.
• Defending against wage and hour and other class action claims under the FLSA, IMWL, IWPCA, and BIPA.
• Defending and/or prosecuting trade secret violations and breaches of confidentiality, non-compete, and non-solicitation agreements.
• Trial experience (first or second chair) and/or experience presenting witnesses at trials, hearings, arbitrations, or similar proceedings in employment law matters.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Admission to the Trial Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
• Appellate experience in employment law cases, including briefing and/or oral argument.
• Portal book of business is welcomed but not necessary
