The first time a partner forwards you a demand letter with nothing in the email but your initials, you read it four times before lunch.

Then you look up the claimant's job title, dig out the handbook, check whether the arbitration agreement was ever signed, and by three o'clock you've got a view. You send it over, the partner changes two words, and it goes to the client with your name on it. That afternoon is roughly when a junior employment lawyer stops feeling junior, and at a lot of firms it doesn't come around until year four.

This San Diego seat should get you there sooner. It's for someone two to four years in, it's fully remote, and the band runs from $225,000 to $300,000 with a discretionary bonus on top.
