Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney for its St. Louis office. This role involves handling a broad range of employment law matters, including workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment litigation, traditional labor issues, and counseling employers on workplace policies and compliance matters.

Duties:
- Handle employment-related disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
- Represent clients in litigation, including researching and drafting memoranda, pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
- Advise public and private employers on employment policies and compliance with labor laws.
- Conduct employee training sessions on workplace policies and best practices.
- Provide counsel on day-to-day employment matters, including hiring, discipline, terminations, and accommodations.
- Address traditional labor issues, including unfair labor practices and collective bargaining disputes (preferred).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Strong litigation experience, including legal research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and provide strategic legal counsel to clients.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
Certifications:
- Admission to the Missouri bar.
- Admission to other state bars is a plus but not required.
