Job summary

As the L&D RN on this assignment, you will monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart-rate patterns, assist during labor, birth, and recovery, and respond to obstetric emergencies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Active Kansas RN License.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring.
• Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including oxytocin titration as ordered and per facility protocol.
• Provide immediate newborn care and support neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines.

This Labor and Delivery travel nurse position in Winfield, Kansas, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) contract at William Newton Hospital . This role pays $2,140 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

As the Labor and Delivery registered nurse on this assignment, you'll assess maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal heart-rate patterns, guide patients through every stage of labor, birth, and recovery, and respond to obstetric emergencies as they arise.
