Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage pain relief protocols as ordered by the physician.

• Collaborate with physicians, midwives and other care teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in neonatal resuscitation when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact state licensure.
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a labor and delivery nursing setting preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
