Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide leadership in patient care and coordinate clinical outcomes. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, while mentoring staff and documenting teaching for patients and families.

Eligible for a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, the position requires NC RN licensure, BLS certification, and L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in NC; eNLC license may apply, check with NCBON.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• One year L&D nursing experience required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• NRP must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Education: ASN required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

What qualifications you will need

• Required Education: Associates Degree of Science in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree or Masters in Nursing.
• Required License / Certifications: Must have and aintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON
• Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Preferred License / Certifications: National Certification in area of specialty
• Required Experience: Must have one year of L&D nursing experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
