*Qualifications*

Minimum Qualifications

• One (1) year labor and delivery experience required in an acute care setting.
• Associates Degree Nursing (ADN).
• Current California RN license required.
• Current BLS certifications required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS and NRP certifications required within 3 months of hire (must be certified through the American Heart Association)
• Basic AWHONN fetal monitoring acceptable at hire, but must complete the Intermediate AWHONN course within 6 months hire.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course every two years thereafter or obtain NCC Fetal Monitoring Certification and maintain as specified.

• One (1) year Labor and delivery C/Section/PACU OBED Postpartum/Newborn Nursery Unit experience preferred
