A leading company in the medical device industry is seeking a Packaging Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while collaborating closely with various departments. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate and manage the routing of packaging artwork for approvals across all departments
- Review and approve final product labels throughout the label/packaging approval process
- Ensure accurate printed information on labels in compliance with regulatory requirements for medical devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to finalize time-sensitive deliverables
- Support internal audits, health authority inspections, and external audits
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Packaging Design, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging and label design, preferably in a regulated industry
- Familiarity with compliance to government regulations, including FDA regulations and ISO standards
- Knowledge/competence in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) required
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Industrial or consumer packaging experience
- Experience with labeling and regulatory compliance requirements
- Familiarity with Corel Draw is a plus
- Keen eye for detail, color, typography, and layout
- Highly organized and detail-oriented to ensure output accuracy
