Iconex is hiring for a full-time, hands-on production role in New York. You will operate and troubleshoot label manufacturing equipment, monitor quality, and assist with material handling while ensuring safety and 6S standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in printing or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with measuring tools like calipers, rulers, and gauges.
• Familiarity with moving machinery and safety protocols.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate equipment at various heights.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; a two-year technical degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, optimize, and troubleshoot label manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor product quality and ensure specifications compliance.
• Prepare and apply adhesives, inks, releases, and other materials.
• Complete minor repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
• Ensure correct raw materials are used during production.
• Log production data accurately using computer systems and logs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with 6S standards.
• Support material handling and packing operations.
• Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
• Participate in safety training and proactive hazard identification.
• Contribute to training efforts and help develop SOPs, work instructions, and other documentation.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
