Job summary

Iconex is seeking a Press Operator to set up, operate and optimize label production equipment, ensuring quality and safety standards. You will monitor product quality, perform minor repairs, and support packing and material movement while maintaining 6S standards and participating in CI activities.

The role requires 2+ years of printing experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years printing experience preferred.
• Good mechanical ability.
• Ability to use rulers, gauges, calipers, and other testing equipment.
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to working with moving equipment.
• Effective communications and interpersonal skills to work as a team member.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with all EHS standards and regulations.
• Direct participation in EHS training and hazard identification.
• Participate in CI activities and process improvements.
• Monitor and ensure product quality during all operation phases.
• Set up, operate, optimize, and troubleshoot label equipment.
• Prepare, test, and apply adhesives, inks, or related chemicals.
• Ensure equipment runs per standards and maintain downtime goals.
• Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Verify correct raw materials are processed.
• Log production data and share updates with planning and maintenance.
• Support packing, material movement, and cross training.
