Job summary

MCC is seeking a Machine Operator in Oak Creek, WI. No prior experience required, but beneficial. Responsibilities include inspecting print/seam quality, splicing, data entry in Globetek, and safe handling of rolls. Attractive benefits and competitive hourly wages offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions.
• Operations using US monetary values, weights, volume and distances.
• Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices roll web per specification.
• Uses ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing; uses tools as needed.
• Handles rolls and palletizes to prevent damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam-related defects.
• Records data on paperwork and in Globetek.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.
