Job summary

MCC, a global leader in premium labels, is seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. No prior experience required, but helpful. The role focuses on ensuring print and seam quality, handling rolls, and data entry in Radius.

Applicants should be able to perform basic math, operate Windows applications, and lift up to 50 pounds. A foundational understanding of printing defects is beneficial. This is an on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions.
• Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Uses a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure.
• Utilize tabletop.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam related defects.
• Records data on designated paperwork and in Radius.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
