Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Machine Operator in Algoma, Wisconsin to support production with focus on print and seam quality. The role involves handling rolls, splicing operations, and maintaining data records in the Globetek system. Experience is not required but a plus.

The successful candidate will be able to perform basic math for label counts and conversions, operate Windows-based applications, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for label counts and conversions.
• Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check print and seam quality continuously.
• Remove defective material and splice roll web per spec.
• Use ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing.
• Handle rolls and palletize to avoid damage.
• Understand basic printing and seam defects.
• Record data on paperwork and in Globetek.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
