Lakeside Foods Inc. is hiring a Label Machine Operator in Owatonna, MN. You will support packaging and shipping operations by operating the labeling machine, ensuring correct product codes, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a growing food company.

Qualifications

• High School is recommended.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge on computer techniques.

Responsibilities

• Repair or assist in repair or changeover of labeling equipment.
• Maintain safety devices in place.
• Operate labeling machine.
• Check for proper codes on products being labeled.
• Accurately complete daily labeling production records.
• Adhere to Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
• Notify manager of any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Use a computer, calculator, and related equipment.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

What You’ll Do:

• Day-to-Day Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ability to repair / assist in the repair or changeover of any of the equipment used in the labeling productions.
  • Maintain the responsibility for keeping all safety devices in place.
  • Operate Labeling Machine
  • Must be able to check for proper codes on product being labeled.
  • Accurately complete various records the daily labeling production.
  • Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
  • Notify manager immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered.
  • Use a computer, calculator, and any other necessary equipment.
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by the Manger.
