Job summary

Resource Label Group in Commack, NY is seeking a Finishing Operator to setup and run label inspector machines, slit printed material into defined widths, and perform visual quality control.

You will follow job specifications, select dies and rewind methods, inspect products for color, size and packaging, perform light maintenance, and keep work areas clean and safe.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or equivalent; 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read safety rules and operating manuals
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Lead plant team with collaboration and accountability
• Recruit, train, and develop workforce; ensure a safe environment
• Read job specs and select dies, cores, and rewind method
• Inspect products for color, size, die cut, perforations, and packaging
