Job summary

Tom Trese is seeking a Label Designer/Technician in Los Angeles to design and print labels, integrate barcodes, and connect label templates to SQL databases. You’ll troubleshoot printing issues and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate labeling.

The role requires strong skills with CodeSoft and BarTender, experience in data management, and knowledge of GS1 standards. This on-site position offers growth in a manufacturing/logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Intermediate CodeSoft, BarTender and LabelMatrix (expert level preferred); beginner to intermediate SQL programming.
• Deep understanding of labeling processes in manufacturing and logistics.
• Data entry, data formatting, and integrating data with labels.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ability to troubleshoot label design and printing issues.
• Familiarity with GS1 and SSCC standards.

Responsibilities

• Label design & creation using CodeSoft and BarTender for barcode labels, RFID tags, and product labels.
• Template management to ensure consistent design and accuracy.
• Maintain data management, data formatting, and printing options.
• Ensure labels comply with GS1, RFID, and FDA guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather labeling requirements and provide technical support.
• Address other duties as assigned.
