Job summary

USDM Life Sciences is seeking a Pharmaceutical Labeling Engineer to design and implement BarTender-based labeling solutions in a GxP biopharma environment. The role requires collaboration with IT, QA, Manufacturing, and Regulatory to ensure compliant labeling across sites in Southern California.

The position demands expert Bartender usage, VBScript skills, and experience with MES/ERP integrations. Hybrid work in the Santa Monica area is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency with Bartender for label design, automation and server components.
• Strong Visual Basic/VBScript skills applied to labeling automation.
• Experience troubleshooting complex labeling ecosystems (MES, ERP, printing).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and optimize labels using Bartender with advanced templates and data handling.
• Drive full label lifecycle from requirements through deployment and support.
• Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing for compliant workflows.
• Develop test plans and support validation and change control in regulated systems.
• Perform other duties as required.
