Abbott Laboratories in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Workflow Coordinator to manage patient sample workflows, ensuring quality and timely results. You will coordinate with laboratory staff, track status, and assist on new process implementations within the Cancer Diagnostics division.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 1+ years in clinical labs (NGS experience preferred), strong communication, and US work authorization. The position is full-time and on-site at our Phoenix facility.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field.
• 1+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience with NGs workflow understanding.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Mansioni

• Manage and monitor the workflow of patient samples to ensure quality and turnaround times.
• Prioritize cases according to turn around time and STAT requests from clients.
• Maintain Pending log and Batch creation processes.
• Investigate test failures, re-queue and Test Not Performed samples.
• Create and maintain project reports for client communication.
• Assist in scheduling and bench coverage with Laboratory Supervisors.
• Support Biorepository shipments and returns as needed.
• Proficient in using the laboratory LIMS system.
